Dentures and Overdentures

Dentures are custom-made replacements for missing teeth and can be taken out and put back into your mouth. While dentures take some getting used to, and will never feel exactly the same as natural teeth, today's dentures are natural looking and more comfortable than ever.
Replacing missing teeth will help to improve your appearance and smile. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag, making a person look older. Dentures can help you eat and speak more comfortably.

An overdenture is a complete or partial denture that sits on top of or is attached to underlying tooth structures or dental implants. Overdentures provide improved function and retention when compared to conventional dentures, which may become unstable over time or require refitting. Overdentures, which are made from acrylic, can help preserve the surrounding bone and ensure that the patient has an appliance that will last. Like other dentures, overdentures are removable.
